Bert & Fred
After performing on international stages themselves for over 20 years, Bert & Fred create the show they have always dreamed of with PAILLET: an evening where gastronomy, music, and spectacle seamlessly merge into one total experience — stylish, playful, and a bit quirky, entirely in their own idiosyncratic way.
We believe that today, more than ever, people need to come together, laugh, share, and be amazed. We offer class without stiffness, show without kitsch, engagement without preaching. An evening where everything is right — food, music, acts, and atmosphere — because it is created with love, craftsmanship, and guts.

Die Verdammte Spielerei 🇧🇪
For over 15 years, Die Verdammte Spielerei has been performing at national and international festivals and in concert halls, from Europe to South Korea. What begins as a seemingly classical orchestra soon transforms into anything but ordinary.
Led by a strict Kapellmeister — in reality a stand-up comedian in disguise — they combine virtuoso music with absurd humor. Their repertoire switches effortlessly between classical, jazz, contemporary, and pop, surprising audiences of all ages. And those who are lucky may spot this mischievous “military” band wandering through the streets of Antwerp afterwards, seemingly lost but flawlessly on their way to the nearest pub.

Artists
The crème de la crème of the international circus and cabaret world

Megane Saboy 🇫🇷
Mégane Saboy ALREX is a French dancer and acrobat from Paris.
She made a career in the world of cabaret and the circus, performing at Paradis Latin, Le Quai Saint-Tropez, C'est la Magie, and The Illusionists World Tour, among others. As a rolla rolla acrobat, she combines elegance and risk in a refined, precise style that forms her signature on stage.
Abi Collins 🇬🇧
Abi lives by one simple truth: all the world's a stage. Her stage story began at the age of nine as a Royal Ballet Junior Associate. After a BA at Goldsmiths University and a master's degree in Bristol, she resolutely chose adventure — and ran away with the circus. What followed was an international career spanning more than twenty years, during which Abi traveled the world with an irresistible mix of comedy, circus skills, and razor-sharp timing. She shines at major outdoor events, in cabaret and theater venues, and on television, always with the same goal: to connect with, surprise, and make the audience laugh.
Abi was also one of the absolute crowd favorites during Cirq-à-Roma — we are therefore particularly delighted to welcome her back to PAILLET.

Bert & Fred 🇧🇪
With their comical and sometimes even dangerous interludes, Bert & Fred appear between various acts. Each time, they reveal a little more of their crazy ideas. A falling knife, a swinging hammer, a cracking whip... They have no hesitation where a normal audience might have questions. In their final act, they flirt with tightrope walking and show the audience that, besides being funny, they are also highly skilled.
Duo Cardio 🇲🇽🇫🇷🇺🇾
Solène Albores and Rodrigo Hernández together form a breathtaking balance between power, confidence, and elegance.
With their perche act, they bring pure concentration and daring to dizzying heights: Solène climbs meter by meter into the air, while Rodrigo maintains silence beneath her and keeps the world in balance.
The result is as exciting as it is refined — an ode to collaboration, precision, and absolute focus.
They already shone at Cirque du Soleil in Andorra and were awarded at the prestigious Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris.

Jimmy Gonzalez 🇨🇦
Jimmy Gonzalez grew up between France and Spain and began juggling and creating his own acts at the age of eight. After six years of training at renowned circus schools — first at the École nationale de cirque de Châtellerault and then at the École nationale de cirque de Montréal — he won two gold medals at international festivals.
He worked with prestigious companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Les 7 Doigts de la Main, Cirque Éloize, and GOP Variété.
Today, Jimmy lives and works in Quebec, where he establishes himself as an author of alternative circus. He develops small-scale, multidisciplinary performances in which virtuosity and poetry meet.
Mathias Goethals 🇧🇪
Mathias Goethals is a powerful and refined movement artist with a fascination for the body in its purest form. Drawing from a versatile foundation in hand balancing, aerial straps, and acrobatic dance, he translates technical virtuosity into a visual language full of tension and elegance. His work balances physical perfection and choreographic expression—where every pose is as much sculpture as performance.

Simone Bredice 🇮🇹
Simone Bredice, originally from Italy, began his career as a B-boy in the street dance scene. From that explosive energy, he found his way to the circus world, where he further developed his style and discovered Cyr Wheel.
His act combines urban groove, power, and precision in a "spinning wheel," aka Cyr Wheel. What begins as pure physical control evolves into a hypnotic dance of speed, risk, and balance.

There is more to come..
