PAILLET will not take place this December.

After two years of preparation, we have decided to cancel this edition. A decision that weighs heavily, not only emotionally, but financially as well. Many costs for creation, production, communication and preparation have already been incurred.

Everyone who purchased a ticket has now received a full refund.

In the comments under several newspaper articles, we read reactions such as: “I suppose the subsidies were withdrawn.”

Just to be clear: PAILLET did not receive any subsidies.

PAILLET was created through cultural entrepreneurship: artists and creators developing an idea themselves, taking risks, investing, and trying to build something special. The financial consequences of this cancellation are therefore entirely ours to carry.

At the same time, we also received messages from people asking whether there was still some way they could support PAILLET.

That is why we are keeping this page online.

Anyone who cares about PAILLET and would like to make a voluntary contribution towards the costs that remain after the cancellation — or simply wants to help make PAILLET possible again one day — can do so here.

No crowdfunding. No reward. No obligation.

Just a small helping hand, for anyone who feels like giving one.

Every contribution, big or small, means a lot to us.
